My striving to let go of the inner critic shows a steady progression in my work, from pale, timid form and color when I began, to recent riotous, brightly hued watercolor… As so often happens in these carefully designed exercises in Nurturing Arts... I am freed to explore and open to the innate healing forces that live within artistic activity…” from Attendee Jeanne Elium (LILIPOH magazine article 2008) “Humans can find no better retreat from the world than art, and can find no stronger link with the world than art.” Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
